The timber is kiln-dried and pre-treated to category 3, giving the furniture a 10 year plus life span - this can be further increased by a yearly treatment of sealer or protector.

Superb

Only downside to the purchase was the carrier, who left it sitting in their warehouse for a week, until I chased it up with Rawgarden. Rawgarden phoned and emailed me the same day, to advise they had chased it up, and the gentleman I spoke to could not have been more helpfull. It duly arrived with the box ripped to bits and wrapped in black plastic bags, BUT, all the parts were there, and table was undamaged. It went together like a dream, quality parts, and excellent build quality. Solid piece of kit, would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. And the after sales service from the makers is super, they were very pleasant to deal with.

This picnic bench arrived very promptly. I was in a hurry to get it ASAP, as I had a BBQ party coming up. I phoned the seller Rawgarden and they have been extremely professional and helpful. They tracked the bench and called back with an estimated delivery time.The moment I opened the box, I was sure its a quality product. Everything feels solid and all edges are nice and rounded. This is longer than the usual benches at 1800mm. So it can easily accommodate a minimum of 6 people.It was very easy to put together. I am not that great with DIY and assembling things, but I managed to put this together in just over 30 minutes.I also bought a parasol, parasol base and a bench cover. Our guests enjoyed the bench and we are quite pleased.

This picnic bench only took a few days to arrive via courier. The box had a hole in it and one part of the wood was sticking out but there were no pieces missing and no damage. It's a very heavy, strong piece of furniture that is held together with large screws. The description says it's an 8 seater but there really isn't enough room on the actual table top to accomodate 8 people. It's perfect for 6 people though and the benches are very long. To make the furniture last, it needs to be treated with a protector of some sort. I will use Cuprinol to make it weather resistant and also give it a nicer colour that it's original colour. I also bought a water proof cover for it to protect it in the colder months. I would definitely recommend this picnic table if you want something sturdy.
