Looks good - yet to judge long term performance

We wanted some good looking exterior lights that had PIR operation and would withstand the wet weather near Dartmoor - these seemed to fit the bill.Units arrived next day via Amazon's great Prime delivery service but unfortunately found one had broken glass shade since packaging in individual boxes proved to be very basic and hence had to be sent back for refund - although new unit on order to replace.Installation and assembly easy to understand for anyone reasonably competent with diy and electrical connections. However I would warn that the mounting arrangement is rather fiddly, and I would make the following points:1. The main unit is permanently wired to the mounting base instead of using connectors or easy means of disconnection whilst fixing to the wall. As a result the main body is left swinging when you are pulling through the supply cable and screwing to the wall - not so easy on steps!2. There are no fixings of any type supplied!!! The plastic body fixing holes are so small it is very difficult to find suitable screws to fit without potentially cracking the fixing points. Appropriate screws really need to be supplied within the pack.3. The fixing holes provide no horizontal or vertical adjustment so you need to be certain your fixing points are lined up otherwise the fixture will be leaning left or right.4. The sealing gasket between the base and the main body tends to spring loose and needs to be carefully checked before tightening the fixing nuts in place.5. The support rods for the top cover have tiny plastic washers that can be easily lost or deformed, but you need them to seat the top properly on the rods over the glass shade - and will need to take them off again to remove the shade when you need to change the bulb.That said when the unit is finally in place it looks pretty good and works fine with a good adjustable sensor range and a decent variation of timing.We will have to see how it stands up to the weather over time and lets hope the manufacturer considers the installations issues a little better!

This looked by eye on the internet to be a very nice outdoor light, it turned up looking like some one had tried to fix it....poorly. The sensor didnt work properly and neither did the light sensorI can imagine that not all the lights are like this but this one that I bought ended up going back.
