Utterly brilliant product

I love these so much I have four of them. Firstly, they look great, I put two on my patio and they blend in so well with my nice wooden garden furniture no one even noticed them! They are very easy to put together. They are extremely sturdy. My 18 stone husband stands on one of them to wash windows. They are very, very comfortable to sit on with nice broad comfy seats, and all of my 6 large dogs (who have plenty of choice re benches to sit on) choose these.Best of all, they are 100% waterproof. Even after endless & torrential rain and wind this Winter, not a drop has gone in. Also the design is so great that when you lift the lid, the water on top does not run into the box itself. I didn't know this at first, so I carefully dried the lid before opening it. Totally unnecessary, thank goodness.I am going to buy two more as I would like to store things like my big jam pan, & other rarely used items from my kitchen plus dog & cat food, tins, spare rolls of bin bags, bubblewrap, Christmas wrapping paper etc, so I have more space.Could not recommend these more highly.

I only assembled this product yesterday, so can't make any judgements about long-term durability, etc. But it works fine, looks good, and is the easiest self-assembly job I've done for a long time. Not only are the instructions clear, but almost all the parts are labelled with their identifying letter, as per the instruction leaflet. Why don't all manufacturers do this?

If you need a bench with storage underneath this is great. It looks like painted wood in the photos but in case you don't read every word of the descriptions, please note it's made of 'resin' (i.e. plastic) but don't let this put you off. Keter make all kinds of plastic garden storage etc so I knew this before ordering and went ahead. Assembly took me about 30 minutes and you just need small and large crosshead screwdrivers. some parts 'click' together and need a good thump to engage. There are three metal bars across inside so it's more rigid than you might think. The base of the storage box is not a solid rigid panel so something like a mower might be too heavy to put in it, but it is fine for flowerpots, watering can, wellies etc., and the storage box is bigger than expected and looks as if it should be watertight. I feel the pale grey colour of the bench isn't very attactive (white would be better) but this is my only criticism. Good product.
