Look elsewhere

the item looks like it has some kind of plastic coating, there was damage on some parts that looks like they came from the manufacturing process (damage where they put the dowel holes, the backing wasn't finished properly and was peeling - things like that) and it shows the marks when touched and the assembly instructions would have to be the worst I've seen in a long time. For the price, I suggest you look elsewhere and if you really feel the need to buy this then make sure you have lots of time, an electric screwdriver and more wood glue to hand. (and nails for the backing piece - they provide screws but the difficulty of getting them though the plastic made me dig up some nails - the product is not that good that it was worth the effort needed to screw the back on)
