solid build all round let down by wheel design fault

I bought this after looking at a number of units for sale on Amazon. The product did not disappoint and despite the information details being in German, it was easy to assemble,It is robust and simple but effective in design except for the plastic wheel stops on two of the wheels,here the design fails.The protruding clips catch the main body as the unit is wheeled, making it difficult to guide and to move the trolley over the floor surface. Shame really because otherwise this is a well thought out unit and deserves to sell well.

adjustable laptop table

I have been looking for an adjustable table for some time. There are a lot of types available, but all were too high at their lowest setting for my wife to use her laptop comfortably. She needed a setting no higher than 60 cm and this table's lowest setting is 58cm, so perfect. The table is sturdy, looks great and matches in perfectly with the black and silver laptop. The wheels slide reasonably well on a thick carpet and she hasn't had any problems with the locking devices as other people have had.I would recommend this table for laptop use, it looks very professional, unlike some others that look like nursing home bed side tables, but it is sturdy enough to be used in that situation as well.

Great, but 1 design fault

This is a really nice solid and practical table. Best height adjustment range and very solid quality parts. On these alone I would say it's faultless. Easy diagrams and strait forward to make.But small faults, the written instructions are in german. The height adjustment has a spring. So when the table's in it's lowest position and you loosen the locking wheel it can spring up quite rapidly if unladen.Main design fault, 2 of the wheels have locking mechanisms on them. These work fine in them selves and a good idea. But as they have the locking lever sticking out from the swivel wheels, they get caught. When you move the table the lever catches against the base in certain circumstances and means the table is either hard to move or veers off in the wrong direction. Similar to that shopping trolly that never goes where you want it. But it is only when you change direction, when the wheels are facing the right way you can easily wheel it from one room to another.
