White Squares is a contemporary range with geometric lines and soft curved edges which complements the round shape of White by Denby. Denby have designed glass and accessories to complement both White and White Squares perfectly.

Ah...white!

This is a lovely set. Simple, classic, white. It's a pure white, it's not a creamy white or a tinted white - just white, white, white. Don't take it to the Antarctic - if you put it down, you might loose it.The dinner plates are big, and flat. And don't fit in my cupboard, but I'm not really worried as they fit nicely in the plate warming drawer of the cooker.The side plates are obviously in the same style, but seem a little small - maybe it's just in comparison.The bowls are just a nice size, but I did also buy four pasta bowls, too, which complement the set handsomely. While I was at it, I added two serving bowls as well and the whole makes up an impressive set. I have to say that, although the serving bowls have a generous capacity, they do seem a bit shallow.The cups are a bit odd. You'd kind of expect them to have saucers but they don't. They look like cups but they actually hold about the same as your average mug - about 300ml (yes, I measured it).I haven't stuck any of them in the dishwasher or oven yet, but I can certainly confirm that they are microwave proof. They feel solid, but look elegant and go really well with my new WMF 44 pce Boston 18/10 stainless steel cutlery set.I bought the set direct from Amazon, rather than one of the sellers advertising on Amazon, and the delivery was next day - no problems.So - all set up for Christmas now, I hope! :-)Edit: 25/05/10. Well, have now added four Denby Noodle Bowls to the set. Might seem an extravagance, but the soup bowls and the pasta bowls were so nice, I use them for most meals - which means I don't have a bowl for pud! And these fit that gap just nicely, making the whole set a bit more versatile.

A new kitchen meant I wanted new crockery. Simple, contemporary, white. A good name. This product delivers all these and quality is great.However, the plates are too large to fit in my new Neff microwave and take up 2 rack spaces in the new neff dishwasher. Bowls are little small - we bought the pasta bowls to amend.I would recommend but bear in mind the size of the dinner plates. Also, delivery was very slow (now ordered 3 sets at different times) for one set and it was covered in dirt and dust...

Denby 16 piece tableware set

I bought this set to add to my existing tableware. Denby is very good quality and perfect for every day use. The first set I ordered came with one of the plates broken and the people at Amazon were really helpful. A replacement was sent out immediately and arrived safely in one piece. I guess it's just the chance you take when ordering china but my confidence in Amazon as a company has not been swayed. Their customer service is excellent.
