Bought 2 of these, good value and good quality for the price - seller was v helpful when I wanted to change the colour of the supplied cushions. Comfortable to sit on, would recommend

Fantastic comfort in the garden, and I can move it with one hand!

I am delighted with this luxurious object. This steamer chair is so comfortable to sit on, perfect for reading, and so easy to move around - I can tip it up and wheel it about with one hand, so I can move it into the sun while holding coffee in the other hand! The wheels are essential for me. The teak and brass fittings look great and it feels very sturdy - the husband approves. It was trivial to attach the legrest, just slide it into the spiral slot. The cushion looks great and has a pillow at the end you can flip over to use or not.Teak was also a must for me - teak doesn't need treating like cheaper woods and ages gracefully to a beautiful silver. It starts out a lovely golden colour, and you can oil it to keep the colour, but I love that it's not essential, I don't want to spend precious garden time on maintaining garden furniture.I found the steamer uncomfortable without the legrest, it's too long to use as chair, but it might be OK for those with longer legs; but why buy a steamer and not use all of it anyway? The lower cushion part also detaches (by velcro) which is an unexpected bonus - it is still very comfortable without it, it's easier to carry, and I can pop out for morning coffee and avoid putting dewy garden shoes on the cushion. I was a bit disappointed it doesn't recline anywhere near flat, but that's ok, for sitting and lounging it's superb. It's not very comfortable without a cushion, as I expected, but with either the steamer cushion or 2 small chair cushions it is heavenly comfort. It is perfect for my purposes, providing comfort for garden contemplation and reading, and easy to move around.
