Philips Living Ambiance 69162/60/PU

Although this lamp feels strong, Stylish and very well built, it has a weak point.Its acrylic shade would break during transit if the lamp is not placed vertically.The lamp weighs 4.7kg (without the shade) so placed either sideway or upside down would create enough mechanical constraints on the shade or its holder to break either one or the other (during transit with the vibration).Two lamps were shipped to me.The first one had its shad holder brokenThe second one had the inside ring of the shade broken (part where the shade is held)Having spoken to Philips, they have offered to replace the lamp however I wish I never chose that option because they kept me waiting for months. Finally, after several complainsts Philips offered to refunded me. Quite a painful experience. I should have taken Amazon's offer to refund me in the first place.
