Don't waste your money

Bought this a couple of months ago, and as I was in the middle of redecorating only gave it a quick check over when it arrived.I didn't get around to assembling until a few weeks later, then I noticed all the flaws.This dining set is an absolute waste of money. The timber has not even been dressed properly,the wood finish looks as if it has just been sawn.The chair legs both have chips and marks.I have thrown it out and bought a new one,(not the same) from another company.Save your money for something better.

Finally got it

Still very damp as been lost in transit and not looked after.I'm hoping the table keeps its shape,Trying to dry it out slowly.Table top has twisted on dry out, not happy with the care that was taken while in transit.Amazon had nothing to do with the delivery care.

Astonishing quality. Item exactly as described, solid heavy oak, beautifully crafted top notch product. This goes for the chairs too almost, which are brilliantly made and solid however the fitting of the seat cushion to the frame is a little flimsy but that is my only very small complaint. Highly recommended for solid old fashioned furniture that would cost you a lot more from a showroom.
